The wife and I went there the week before Christmas 2010 during our stay in Vegas and totally enjoyed it. It was a Sunday evening and I timed our reservation to get there about 30 minutes before the sun went down so we could see the city lights come on as Vegas fell into darkness. It was perfect timing.
This was a postponement of our 9 year anniversary, drinks and appetizers at Level 107 and then Dinner at the Top of the World Restaurant which the wife just loved..
Level 107 doesn't rotate and we were allowed to pick any seat we wanted since they weren't super busy. Drinks were reasonably priced and great. We couldn't ask for better service. Calamari we had was also very good. Wife had a couple of their specialty drinks and I had a 7 & 7 and a specialty drink.
We moved into the rotating restaurant for Dinner. Food was really good. I had the wine flight that went with dinner and liked all of them but one (personal taste). Price for dinner and wine was expensive but what we were expecting. The night with tip was about $280 for two if I count drinks, appetizer, tip, dinner, wine and tip. Oh, and pictures from a roving photographer. Wife had to have photos for the evening and that was about $30-$40 more.
Go on line and look over the menu for Top of the World and the Lounge 107. Top of the world
We would go back......
Word to the wise! Watch for people passing by the window as they jump off the level above. The new 800ft drop ride to the ground!!!!!
Picture of us with the city lights behind....as we rotated around about 1.5 revolutions...or more during our stay. I think 1 revolution takes 80 minutes.
