You posted statistics that actually agree with him and he's the blind partisan idiot?
He said homicides have declined 40% in the last twenty five years.
You post that the August rate is the highest in two decades, proving his point.
Perhaps you should stick to blind rage. Not that you do it well, but at least you show enthusiasm. Obviously interpreting stats isn't your strong suit.

According to Mr. Trump, it is to "take the gun away" from someone. Please re-read the preceding paragraph; he was pretty explicit.

That's not an easy question to answer. Cities that didn't do stop and frisk had equal drops in homicide. The end of the late 80s/early 90s crack epidemic contributed. While Mayor Rudy implemented Stop and Frisk, it was Bloomberg who greatly expanded it, after the drastic reduction in homicides had already occurred. Very few of those arrested under the program were convicted of serious crimes. Most were arrested for possession of pot or coke.
Since the end of Stop and Frisk, crime has not risen that much, if at all.
One of the consequences of the program was it turned many young people away from joining NYPD. Reducing the pool of candidates means some people got jobs that they wouldn't have in a stronger field.
Was S&F a factor, yes. Was it the key factor? I don't believe so.

forkie, I've lived in Chicago or the close by 'burbs my whole life.....I have 3 brothers in law who are or were Chicago PD......you have no clue at all what's going on here. Figures lie and liars figure. Carry on with your spinning but please recall....YOU can fool some the people, some of the time. But anyone familiar with Chicago understands exactly how full of crap you are on this one.

He only wants to take them from blacks and brown people. His stop and frisk is only going to be in minority neighborhoods, just like it was in NY. Then again, black students at The Bronx School of Science were stopped and frisked 15 times more than the white students in the school. Imagine being stopped and frisked two or three times a day on your way to and from school. Only in Bloomberg's NY, unless the dumpster wins.

Let's see...New York population is about 8.5 million , Chicago's is about 2.7 million. Yet New York had 352 murders , and Chicago had 473 for the period listed . GREAT JOB mayor !!! Bob
