Subletting a comped room

Got comped the 1500sqft suite at Southpoint for four nights, and thinking we can have two other couples stay with us. Wonder what a reasonable price to charge them would be. Something that would still be a helluva deal for them, but put some gambling money in my pocket. Or am I just a dick for considering this?
I'd avoid putting a dollar amount on it...

When I take others to dinner on a comp, I ask them to cover the tip. Still ends up as a good deal for both of us.
For a room, I'd probably just say, "Don't sweat it. Pick up dinner tonight and we'll call it even". The restaurant in question would depend on the quality of the room I suppose - though I'd leave it up to them and what they're comfortable with. No need to stress the relationship over money.
Yeah, except we're going to Vegas for a convention and will probably offer the space in the room to other people who are attending the convention. In other words, people we aren't really close friends with....or maybe even have never met before. So I don't feel quite the same about it as if it were a vacation with buddies. But I mostly agree with your thinking.
Be sure to shut off the honor bar and ppv channels. I was on the receiving end of such a situation last year. I offered to treat the couple to dinner . They gave me a bill for $47. It was a Sat nite at the Grandview. They had booked a week and only needed six nights.

Watch out, people that do not gamble do not understand how much you lose to get "free" rooms, some people think, you got this room for free why should I pay you. Been there! Plus it is a pain in the ass checking into two hotels and then making sure they check out. Plus
You don't know them? Hopefully they won't see you as just another free kidney.
I would not be sleeping in the same suite with someone I never met.
Just don't tell them it was a free room. Tell them it was $100 a night and get $33 per night from each couple.

I've had people do this for me and they never expected for me to pay for it. In matter of fact they did it to indirectly say "thank you" for other things I had done for them. That being said, I took them to a very nice restaurant while there and picked up the tab, as a means of thanking them.

TWO other couples, strangers? FOUR nights? Yikes!

From the hotel perspective, multiple keys, multiple linen needs (towels, etc.).
Housekeeping cleanup for six people instead of two?

Especially if they find out the others are paying you?
In theory this cuts into Southpoint's revenue (2 or more rooms, convention rate for four nights).

A comped suite? No way would I jeopardize burning that bridge.
