Just read at a different website that it was all a hoax and there's no plan to discontinue Cap'n Crunch. Suckers;-)

Julie, it wasn't a hoax. It was just sloppy, speculative reporting.

It never made any sense that of all the crap you can purchase in a grocery store that Cap'n Crunch was singled out by the government, White House.

Oh man, iused to eat cap'n crunch all the time. I,too,remember the roof of my mouth getting raw from eating too much.

I dont think they're discontinuing it,just no more advertising or pushing it. Letting it fade away,if it ever does.

well, is used to have that "cut the top of your mouth" effect... now, its less harsh... did not cut the top of my mouth, and seemed smoother... not as rigid...

totally not the same at all...
