Summer of Cal/Nev Day 57 Final Report

No apology needed, you do far more than anyone should expect. You do admit loosing money gambling witch 95% plus, people can't. No one could do any better or come close than you did, money wise or effort. I'm sure you can figure people out by the comments they make. Like I have ask before please write us in your off season, be careful and may God bless and good luck.
Thank you for posting your trip reports I truly enjoy reading the especially since the recession has hit us hard and don't know when or if we'll ever be able to return to Las Vegas and Laughlin although I must admit I enjoy reading the reports even if they aren't about Las Vegas. Your trip reports are very entertaining and informative at the same time. Will be looking forward to your bucket list trip report someday!
I enjoyed reading your reports, You are certainly a weajth of information!

Thank you very much! Every morning I'd sit at my computer with a cup of coffee and looked forward to reading your reports.

Yes, totally wonderful reports and you are so honest about your gambling losses!! I've only come back with more money than I took with me once!

The last two casinos would not have been worth the drive. I've driven from Victoria, B.C. to Reno and back (only about 800 miles) and I considered that a long haul! Hope you keep posting from time to time on your regular Las Vegas and Laughlin trips!
Really enjoyed reading your reports. I had something to look forward every night when I got home from babysitting the grandkids and needed some time for myself. They are very young and need constant attention! It's just amazing how fast summers can go by. I do agree with Judy from Saginaw, economy has hit hard with us also and keep making mini goals to get things paid off and then do a Vegas trip. Maybe next year. I keep telling my husband maybe it was better to have never gone to Vegas and experience it and know what we are missing. Thanks for taking the time to write and take pictures. It is interesting to read the comments and understand how your reports have reached out to everyone in different ways.
Thank you Jon. I appreciate all the info.
Fantastic! Don't blame you one bit for foregoing the last leg, it's difficult for me to sit in a car for more than a few hours. I don't think you ever have to worry about boring the readers here, there's a familiarity with every report you write that I think everyone can equate with themselves with, it's what makes them so interesting.

I had to grin abut your last paragraph and reference to needing a kick in the butt to get motivated, I can definitely relate to that. I really enjoyed keeping up and hope you enjoy the rest of your summer, maybe kick back and watch the sprinkler in the back yard with an ice cold beer and be lazy. You've done enough for ten people so far and surely you deserve it.

JOHN
If I missed your reports at home I knew I could safely open up your threads at work without fear of getting fired on the spot like some other threads (lol). I like those other threads too but I know to wait until I return home to open them (ha-ha).
Well done Jon. I look forward to your future trip reports.
