OK, I was cool with you until now. Lame Emily Litella spin offs are not allowed. Lots of lame, lame stuff here, but please, leave me my Emily.

I was glad the Giants won.
As for the halftime....I'm with others here....I usually hate it because it never seems to live up to my memory of what the singers USED to be like. In my mind, most Super Bowl halftimes feature some almost (or very) "over-the-hill" extremely famous person/group who is trying to make a comeback for whatever reason. The same with Madonna....she performed the halftime for FREE to get promo for a movie she has coming out soon.

That being said, I was very surprised and REALLY LIKED her halftime show. I never was a Madonna fan before, but I thought she did a great job at halftime. The dancing was fresh and exciting (not just the typical "pelvic-thrust" that most females seem to think is dancing now (i.e., cheerleaders during their performances)), the outfits were great, the lighting good. Really, she did a great job (even being lip-synced).

....and the football game (and commercials) were Very Good, too! :-)

Wife and I attended a Madonna concert live a couple of years ago in Denver. She is one hardworking woman! she had just turned 50 and appeared to have not lost a step in her many dance routines.She is a "DIVA" no doubt. BOth of her shows in Denver started 2 hours late (which I guess is par for her).


i have tired of the "super bowl halftimes" as it is pretty hard to stage a "Live" event of a concert in 20-30 minutes they are given. Thought her perfomance was above par for super bowl halftime shows.

But I do have one question?
WHo the fuck is "MIA" and will any of us know this dumb bitch in 2 years? She gets her chance of a lifetime to appear on halftime of the super bowl and she pulls this dumb shit! Come on MAN

I don't watch the half time shows. The last one I saw was the first Micheal Jackson performance at the SuperBowl. I usually watch the puppy bowl during halftime. They even have a clock so I know when the game is going to start up again. :-)
