Super Bowl XLIX Odds

Maybe Brady is smarter than he lets on. Of course, that's just another reason to dislike him even more.
. . . And he won't even buy his wife a new pair of jeans:

I expect next year the nfl will supply the balls & they will be kept in a secure location & then guarded during the game. Expect a camera on the ball person the entire day.
I never said Brady was innocent (personally, I am convinced that Obama had something to do with it :-) ). My point was simple and I believe proven by the responses; this is a big deal because it is the Pats.
There was no outcry when Ray Lewis used Deer Antler Spray or even when he was involved in a murder.
There was no outcry when several Seahawks were caught using PEDs,including Richard Sherman (who had his overturned using the Braun defense)
There was no outcry when the Denver Broncos were caught videotaping the sidelines
There was no outcry when the Jets were caught videotaping the sidelines "from the end zone".
There was no outcry when the Giants faked injuries in order to allow their defense to make changes (planned in advance)
There was no outcry when the Broncos and the 49ers evaded the salary cap
There was no outcry over the revelation that many of the 70's Steelers teams that won the SB were into serious steroids. (with many dying young from heart issues).
I could make a list of over 20 such instances.

I am not a Pats fan. My team is the lowly Falcons. I am just saying that the reaction to this is way overblown. There would not be this type of visceral, angry statements made about this if it was any other team than the Pats.
Now on to planning my next Vegas

I should write an identical post about Suh.

There was no outcry when Clay Matthews had a dirty hit on Russell Wilson.
Etc. etc. the whole darn season.

Life is not fair, ask Suh, ask the Pats, ask the people caught speeding on the highway when others are getting away with it.

Anybody crying in defense of the Pats has failed to learn that life is not fair (and they did likely cheat AGAIN).

You missed my point.
I never defended the Pats, just saying this whole thing has been blown out of proportion because they are the Pats.

It would be just as big a deal if the Cheating Seahawks had been caught with tampered balls in the NFC Championship game....but their balls were clean (as far as we know).

I repectfully disagree with that statement.
JMHO
There have been two teams caught cheating over the past 8 years and both were Patriot teams. On outfit getting caught twice is why everyone hates them so much.

I guess you've never heard of 'Cheat Carroll' then. I'm pretty sure it would have been a big deal....for any team...Think about it. What if it would have been the Cowboys and Romo? Green Bay and Rodgers? Broncos and Manning?

Lots of Football Fans hate their bitter rivals. I'll guarantee you if it was another team...Like f'instance the Ravens, the Patriot's fans would be piling on....but it was their beloved Patriots...so they're in Denial. It's the nature of being a fan(atic). Hell I hate the Seahawks not the Patriots....I just dislike them..like all the other teams but mine..
Repeat offenders (Patriots, Suh, etc.) have a very short leash. They earned it.
