Super Bowl XLIX Odds

The conspiracies are everywhere, the Pats this, the Pats that, yada, yada, yada....
I don't follow the pigskin much, but wouldn't it be anti-American to root against the Patriots?
Trent Dilfer was on The Herd this morning. He says every team does things to their balls (footballs). He said he would cover his with dirt, rub them up, wash them and then put them in a clothes dryer. He said others he knew would put them in ovens and heat them or pull up laces. He also said that a deflated ball is harder to throw and that some teams would overi nflate their balls (once again footballs). As with the spy gate crap, everyone does it or did it (according to Bill Cowher). Just hatred for the Pats that feeds the frenzy.
Should be a great game. Wish i could be in Vegas for it.

League officials should keep the balls in their possession their entire time. This would make sure there is no hanky-panky going on with them. I remember they said the Raiders would use a ball with helium in it when ever thy had to punt or make a field goal. Umpires in baseball keep the balls in their possession, why can't the NFL refs???

Ray

the colts got their arse kicked. period. how can u b good enuf to be one game away from the super bowl and u can't even score!? wth! however if the rules (about ball inflation) were broken, it does deserve to be investigated even though it wouldn't be a game changer.

Running backs you sign right off the street only get you so far.
Filming other teams should have caused a year long suspension, Patriots coach must give a wicked blow job. What the Saints coach did was one tenth as bad, what I would have said to Brady is, so if it is true you would be okay if your dick of a coach got suspended for life.

I'm trying to figure out what those two things could possibly have to do with each other. The inflated pressure wouldn't change the weight of the ball at any measurable level.

So filming practices is 10 times worse than paying bounties for the infliction of game and career ending injuries????
All I can say is "wow".
Seems to me that an official spots the ball after every play. I would expect him to realize there was something amiss....and both teams work with the same balls, so wouldn't the advantage be a wash? Finally, this wasn't a cliff-hanger...I mean really, would a fatter ball have made 40 points worth of difference? Big stir for nothing if you ask me. k
