Super Bowl XLIX Odds

I'm okay with Ecomstoc's suggestion. That doesn't change the fact that Belichick is caught cheating a second time.

They don't tell the Nascar drivers how they must inflate their tires. Each driver and team determines what feels and works best for them. Why don't the just let the teams put whatever pressure they want in the balls? Under inflate too much and you lose distance. Let the QB figure out what works best for them

While this would be a suitable partial penalty, I don't believe that it's workable. Colts players are on vacation, and the Super Bowl would need to be pushed back a several weeks. That would create scheduling problems.

It would be ballsy for the NFL to disqualify the patriots. Another ballsy move would be to tell the patriots they can't go to the playoffs next year.

They will probably lose draft picks, hopefully all of them.

Going forward you will probably see the NFL supply the balls for the games

For the record my balls have been deflated for years

If 11 out of 12 balls were deflated an aveage of 2 pounds a piece it is not a coincedence. Even if one of the referees had noticed the cheating had already occurred. I personally don't think the Colts would have won if it was discovered pregame. Isn't it just about cheating?
"The NFL must decide if the investigation reveals cheating and who is responsible. If the Patriots are found to have doctored the footballs, there is likely to be a stiff penalty.
The league's options range from making the Patriots forfeit their AFC championship (which is unlikely after a 45-7 victory), suspending those involved from the Super Bowl (including possibly head coach Bill Belichick), and/or fining the Patriots and confiscating future draft picks."

__Although DonDiego opines that forfeiture of the AFC Title is appropriate, regardless of the final score, it is simply not practical. There should be an asterisk in all the record books to record this flagrantly inappropriate behavior and shame the team forever.
__Suspending those involved, . . . as many as possible, . . . seems a good idea.
__Fines are always good, . . . but the money should come out of the pockets of those directly responsible, as well as the Patriots' Corporate till.
__By all means take away draft picks, . . . enough so that DonDiego need never see the Patriots in a playoff game ever again.
These are the present 2015 draft picks:
1st Round
2nd Round
3rd Round
4th Round
4th Round (Via TB – Logan Mankins)
6th Round (Via TB – Jonathan Casillas)
7th Round (Via TEN – Akeem Ayers)
7th Round (Via HOU – Ryan Mallett)
__DonDiego would also not object to a good flogging, bastinado, or hot saucing at least for the coach, quarterback, and equipment manager, . . . preferably televised, . . . and administered by fans of the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets selected by lottery.

It looked like the Colts vacation started about 6:30 on Sunday

Foefeiting all their draft picks would be good

The Refs handle and touch the ball on every play.
I believe they also periodically check the game ball during the game.
How come it didn't cause suspicion basically every time they spotted the ball ?
Anyway, ..... A win, is a Win, is a WIN
