does that warrant a speeding ticket ?

If a student plaigarizes one paragraph out of a 20 page paper, he fails. Maybe he gets expelled.

If a bank executive embezzles 1% of the institiution's net worth, he goes to prison.

AND IF A PRESIDENT LIES TO A GRAND JURY ............... NOTHING HAPPENS !!!!!

I don't understand. Are you for cheating, or against it? Roger Clemens and Lance Armstrong want to know.
Boilerman,
Some of the Colts have actually said that the issue didn't have much outcome on the game.
I respect their honesty.
I also agree that cheating is cheating, but I look to the refs.
They touch and feel the ball on every play (just my opinion).
Time will tell (maybe).
Boston sports radio stations are ALL over this.

Edit to add:
Was the tool used by the Patriots to check the footballs recently
inspected for correct calibration ?
Where I work, measurement tools are sent out periodically to make sure that
the numbers they measure are precise (ISO Process).

The "Snow Plow" incident many years ago was an unfair advantage gained by the Patriots, who won that game with a field goal.

To me, the Patriots have "always" stretched the limits.

So what. It's a done deed. Did not affect my bank account, so I have no reason to care about this "event".

But I do care, a little, that someone is lying about it. A professional quarterback can not tell if the ball is over or underinflated? He only handles them a few hundred times per day. The kicker, who we see pressing the ball before a kickoff can not tell? The center would not notice?

Yeah. Right.

It appears Rodger Goodhead is giving this the Ray Rice treatment to avoid having to interfere with the league's Super Bowl payday.

Add the refs also who can not tell after handling the ball on every play.

Yet one defensive player, who almost never touches the game ball,
caught an interception and could tell ........... ?????

I remember the "snowplow" game against Miami I believe

I'm not sure if Bill was the head coach then. I could be wrong, as it was quite a long time ago.

Rock'n Rock thanks Don Diego for his Patriot-ism

The Colts lose the game regardless of the PSI of the football............at that's what I think. I believe, however, that the Pats cheated and should be pounded in a huge way. If I were Roger, I would wait until after the Super Bowl and then I would come down with penalties.

I don't know who could tell with certainty what the air pressure of the balls were, however the device testing the pressure within the football tells us the truth............and the pressure was changed in an attempt to improve the Patriots likelihood of winning. If my suspicions are correct, they should be pounded with penalties which will cost them a large number of future wins.

All of you geniuses apparently are not aware that all of the footballs were checked at HALFTIME, inflated to correct pressure and used in the second half. If anything, the Pats should be the ones filing a complaint - the first half was close with the under inflated footballs, and when the footballs were inflated correctly for the second half, the Pats kicked the Colts rears. Sounds like someone removed air pressure from the Pats footballs in the first half to keep the Pats from scoring. Well I am sure that the Pats were glad that the footballs were finally inflated correctly so that they could play and win by the rules. If anything, this B.S. should be called the cry baby hot air gate.

Are you really claiming someone other than a Patriot's Employee doctored their balls? Can't handle the truth. It wouldn't matter if they got caught cheating at halftime or the end of the first quarter or after a minute of play. They were pulling a fast one and they should be punished.

And how can Brady and Belichick claim the first they heard of anything was Monday Morning? You don't think anyone told them the balls were changed at halftime? You don't think Tom noticed the difference? You don't think anyone told them the rumors were flying Sunday night? How? They're probably lying too.

Maybe it was just an equipment malfunction....that's the ticket.
