On Sunday 28 June members of the Black queer community of Chicago briefly disrupted the Chicago [Gay] Pride Parade.
The Group identified as #BlackOutPride issued a statement:
"We are blocking the intersection of Addison and Halsted in the heart of Boystown, blocks away from the Center on Halsted, Whole Foods, Wrigley Field and the Addison CPD station. It is an intersection not just of major Chicago streets, but of corporate greed, private exploitation of queer communities, hyper policing, and ground zero for violence perpetrated against trans and queer young people by the city of Chicago."
#BlackOutPride also expressed solidarity with "Black Lives Matter" and called for: "Black Power. Trans Power. Queer Power. Undocumented Power. Street Youth Power. Sex Worker Power."

It's getting to where a bystander can't even know who's protesting whom without a program. Poor old DonDiego notes that old White straight retirees do not seem to be represented by calls for Black Power, Trans Power, Queer Power, Undocumented Power, Street Youth Power, and Sex Worker Power.
DonDiego feels left out. No, wait a minute, . . . IT'S DISCRIMINATION ! ! !
