Sure feel lucky to be an American

Sure was a contentious election and there are lots of hard feelings. I prefer to celebrate that I had a choice and exercised it. Irrespective of the outcome today, I feel lucky to live in this place and time. I love my country and hope others feel the same.

People on both sides should be optimistic. The last two presidents came into office with both houses of Congress and were able to strong arm policy. Very likely we will have split government for the next administration. Its a chance for a fresh start to allow the parties to work together and get back to a healthier discourse.

I hope that's the path they choose instead of another four years of bigfoot conspiracies.

Republicans are already talking impeachment, and not allowing any votes on any Supreme Court nominee. Republicans are only going to become more unhinged as Fox News and Trump TV compete for conservative eyeballs.
