SW rapid rewards question

When you book a flight and pay with points can you rebook if the price goes down and recieve a credit? I've always done this when paying cash and was wondering if you can do the same when paying with points. Thanks!
Yes, you can rebook it. I did it and the points go back to your account. In fact, if you book a flight for someone else the points still go back to your account.
I just booked a flight on Southwest. The lady on the phone told me it was up to the pilot where we we're going. Should I be worried????

Nope. Just because the SW pilot tries (and thru some miracle, actually is succesful) to land on a 3,700 ft runway, on a wooded bluff, at night, at the wrong airport, is no reason to worry.

They do this all the time !

Double points are awarded if your pilot attempts to land on a 2,000 ft or shorter runway.

"Welcome to Branson, Missouri or somewhere in the Show-Me State and on behalf of Southwest Airlines let me thank you for choosing us to getting you pretty close to your intended destination."

We am going to SLC in Feb. Maybe they can do a stopover in Park City and let us out
Yes, I did it a few months ago. They do charge you a small fee for making the change (like $5 maybe).

But paying that fee subtracted over 4000 points off my original reservation.
The only fee they charge is the 9-11 security fee required if your flight now has more stops. If it has less stops you may get some money refunded.
I wasn't charged anything when I rebooked my trip.
Not only have I never been charged a fee, but they also switch over the Early Bird too.
