Syrian Refugees

"The Obama administration is moving to increase and accelerate the number of Syrian refugees who might be admitted into the United States by opening new screening outposts in Iraq and Lebanon, administration officials told Reuters on Friday.

The move comes after President Barack Obama pledged in September to admit an additional 10,000 Syrian refugees in 2016, . . .

It looks like he is trying to get them in as fast as possible before opinion forces him to shut it down.

The FBI says they cannot screen them adequately. Three governors have already said they will not accdept them.

The idiot in chief is bending over backwards to make certain that Mulims don't feel put out. Doesn't matter to him it seems to throw innocent US citizens in harms way. I'd love to see more States refuse any refugees because there's no way in hell they can screen that many people and say with absolute certainty they aren't the "bad guys".

Obamas done some pretty stupid moves before but this has got to be one of the stupidest, accelerating taking in the refugees.

Maybe the Christian refugees should be a priority as their lives are in greater danger in Syria and all those pesky Jihadists seem to be Muslim.....

As much as I do not want to see Al Hijra take place in our country, and it IS being attempted through fake refugees, the constitution prevents Governors of States from barring those allowed in the country by the Federal government.

I really do want to believe that our President wants what is best for our country, in his eyes. But I just can not fathom why anyone would think that allowing large numbers of un vetted immigrants into our country is a good idea. Especially when the immigrants come from an area who's people have declared a terroristic gorilla war on us.

Didn't we accept refugees from Germany and Japan during WWII? Maybe not.....

Yes we did. And we held them in internment camps until military "experts" declared them safe.
During the Korean and Vietnam wars we allowed political refugees into the US after EXTENSIVE background checks.
I don't think we should stop caring for refugees. I don't think we should stop immigration. I DO think we should do things in a smart and safe way. I also believe we should give the refugees their country back.

Another thing to note. I'm sure it will garner much criticism but it is the absolute truth none the less. True muslim believers have no intention, whatsoever, of integrating into the American way of life. It is against the quran to do so. Al Hijra is commanded in the quran. Taqiyya (lying) is the method spelled out in the quran for doing just that.

I think we rounded up Japanese and put them in camps. Deaths were involved. And a few years later we rounded up Mexicans and flung them over the border - more deaths were involved.

Most of our thoughtful citizens recognize those acts as an embarrassment on our country's civil right record....and other non-thoughtful citizens see those acts as a recipe to build an inclusive, functioning democracy. Its that latter group that is usually the subject for late night comedians.

PJ - yours straw man argument misses the point as usual. During WWII, we did not allow in refugees from the countries we were fighting, even though I am sure there were many good people in Japan and Germany. Islamic Jihadists have declared war on the USA and other peace loving countries. Why should we allow refugees from these countries into America now? If you think the refugees can be thoroughly "vetted", I want to know how?

PS - I recognize the internment of Japanese as a bad idea (and unconstitutional) for those here legally......
