WHAT?

The Malibber school of posting, start making shit up, the more embellished with own personal beleifs, the better.
Can someone please send the Governor of Alabama to a high school civics class.
Seems everytime I look at the TV today, there's Obama talking, bending over backwards for the muslim community so as not to offend. Got me wonderiong, when's the last time anyone ever read a headline that read "Local Imman, helps in turning over suspected...". The thing, nobody sees these 'cause they don't exist. I don't think anyone could convince that with all the recruiting, all the killing, all the poltting, that none of the "good guys" don't know a single thing about any of these plots, or who the bad guys are?

Talk about foolish naiveté'. Those guys have got to be over there laughing and saying" I can't believe this guy, he's inviting us in!" Achmed, Mohommad, shish kabob, suit up, you're going to America!

How in the hell does anyone evr think the US can possibly ensure that not a single terrorists gets through? They can't, I mean who are they going to call or ask? A person can even buy any passport, ID, drivers license etc. right here on the good ol' LVA FFA.
John Kerry the other day told us that America pretty much has ISIS under control. If that's the case, why are people fleeing ISIS controlled areas, and why are we taking refugees when there is no need for them to seek refuge?

Obama and John Kerry appear to be quite confused.

I can always back up my posts with an informed source. And if you think it was made up then you are an incredibly ignorant student of history.

But speaking of people making shit up on these boards - do you still have that NY Post article about Obama fudging the unemployment numbers?
"Can someone please send the Governor of Alabama to a high school civics class. "

The count is now 15 governors. If there is enough of an outcry hopefully common sense will prevail at the white house.

Congress may consider taking this up. If so, it will be interesting to see if reid trys to block something a huge % of the country is in favor of.

Oh I'm up to speed somewhat on operation wetback back in the 50's now, nowhere and I mean NOWHERE did I see anything about flinging Mexicans across the border.

And WTF are you talking about Obamas unemployment numbers? Are you referring to a U^ thing I posted a long time ago, I vaguely remember it. But typical, try and drag something into a conversation that has absolutely nothing to do with current topic. No Clive Bundy reference? Nothing else? Kinda pitiful really.

Flinging Mexicans, deaths ensued. Any idea how silly that sounds?

Hmm, did Python get the idea for one of the best clips from Ike then?

DonDiego checked on the assertion above that the States cannot refuse to accept immigrants who are permitted into the USA by the Administration; it seems to be accurate. [DonDiego would normally cite applicable court cases, but he suspects no one looks at his citations anyway.]
About all the States can do is not co-operate, i.e. a State cannot be forced to spend State funds in the effort to accept/settle refugees.

The original question proposed here was with reference to increasing immigration specifically for Syrian refugees, . . . good news or not? Given the present situation of an increasing number of Muslims worldwide embracing the idea of destroying Non-Muslim Western Civilization as an appropriate religious grand design DonDiego suggests it is likely not a good idea.

The central question: How does one "vet" a potential immigrant? Based upon what? What information is available on those requesting asylum? What records exist? What confidence can be placed in the records? It's not like they've got a credit-rating score on Equifax, TransUnion and Experian?

There are significant potential dangers in accepting such refugees unlike any in earlier immigration exercises.

ITunes accounts?
I have never flung a Mexican. But I would be willing to do so if my country asked it of me.
