Tablet vs Ereader

Which is better, do you like one more then the other? I have ATT. What is the differance?
I see Nook, kindle, tablet and so on, please enlighten me.
I was looking at a Infuse, ince the color seems bette then the EVO. But was wondering if they had another Infuse coming out anytime soon.

I like the iPad. It has a Kindle app as well as other readers. Plus you can download many other apps and games, and even surf the Internet from your hotel room in Vegas like I'm doing now.

I know someone who had a Kindle. When he got an IPad, he claimed the Kindle didn't come close to the IPad and he got rid of the Kindle.

Ipad is like a PC monitor. It lights up. Battery life is measured in hours. Maybe a day or two.

Kindle uses electronic ink. It doesn't light up. It's like reading a book. The battery lasts a long time. Likes weeks. You only need wifi. Load up some books from your home computer network and off you go. If pay a little extra you get 3g. 3g is what cell phones use. With the 3g, which is free on the Kindle, you can download books while you are out and about.

Kindle is for books. Ipad does books too and plus a whole lot more. If you want one device to surf the internet, play some games and read some books, the ipad does more. If you want a dedicated book reader, look at the Kindle. If you read a lot should see if you prefer the Kindle to the Ipad. Most people do but it's a personal preference.

the tablet you use almost like a small laptop. the ereaders are just for reading books. you cannot surf the web or send email from a Kindle

Get a tablet. I love my iPad. A reader is just a reader. A tablet can do tons. The only negative I've found with the iPad is no flash. I knew that buying it. In researching the droid tablets, you can not use Netflix streaming video. That sealed the deal for me.

I inherited an iPad from my dad when he upgraded to the ipad2. Love it. I was looking at the nook at the time. If I was going to get an dreaded it would be the nook. It has color and you can do some Internet on it. By the way the iPad2 is amazing. Takes beautiful videos.

I have been wondering the same thing myself about tablet or reader. Thanks for the information on the differences. I feel like I am computer poor with desktop, laptop, netbook, but I just want something small that can do what I need without lugging a heavy bag. Thanks for asking...
