Yep.

He was a working man, life happens.

Why label this man/image as "very stupid"? Everybody knows sun/tanning does skin damage, to some more than others.

The thread title is "Tanning May Be Very Stupid".

No one called the man stupid, he wasn't tanning, he was working. I think DD's post was aimed at Chilcoot, but may be more applicable to O2bnVegas.

It is "aimed at" whomever needs it.

Like maybe that dumb a$$ dog in your signature?

It doesn't take long for postings to become nasty.

I labeled neither this man nor his image as "very stupid".

I said "Tanning May Be Very Stupid". Heck, I even put "May" in there for some wiggle room.

I have far too much faith in the literacy of others.

Can sunlight damage a body, of course the answer is a giant YES. Sunlight is also absolutely needed for life to exist on earth. Most of the intentionally wrong advice/information comes from companies who want to sell sun protection creams etc.

When you are fully exposed to sunlight, the uvB enters the skin causing meltonin and CHOLESTEROL that exists just under the skin to mix and move to the liver. There the CHOLESTEROL is removed and evacuated, and the melatonin becomes vitamin D3, natuoral vitamin D.

Do you think the pharmacy companies knew this, and did not want the knowledge to interfere with Lipitor sales?? They have most of the world BS'ed to no end. When tanning, do not get to pink.
