Tax Software and K1 forms

Does anybody have a good tax software program that handles K1 forms (income from MLP's and Partnerships)?

I use H&R Block TaxCut and it sucks with these. I've heard TurboTax allows you to automatically import a soft copy of them and does all the funky math and carry-forwards.. Any opinions?

I had 9 K-1s and premier turbo tax handled them without a problem. I was pleasently surprised...although not with the overall tax bill.

Be very careful with automatic processing, especially in matters concerning passive activity losses from ordinary business losses and real estate losses.

Pjstroh: K-1s sometimes can be tricky, I go to bed at night knowing my CPA Tax man ensures all of the weird rules comply with all of the normal tax requirements.

Yeah, only problem is a CPA would charge me about the same amount of money I profited frm the MLP =) I'm interested in making money for me, not Melvin the CPA.

I use LAFO (Let the Accountant Figure it Out).

You didn't note how you own the MLP. You might be able to avoid the hassle of calculating on your return if you own it in an IRA, Roth IRA . The K1s are sent to your address, but check with your IRA custodian and forward the K1s to them. Your IRA custodian will file the report to IRS, report the tax you owe and make a payment to the IRS from your IRA.
This may not apply, as individual situations are different. This is not to be considered tax advice, check with your tax preparer. But if the MLP is held in an IRA, you might want to check with them.
Then LAFO as noted above.
