Tebow Gives Up

ESPN's new SEC Network's going to pay Tebow not to play football this fall, but to talk about people who do play football. He'll start in August, when people who are good enough to play football play football instead of just talk about people who are good enough to play football.

Now, it is true that his ESPN gig will allow him to play football if the opportunity comes up. But that's true for all of us.

I am sure that after Tebow has another productive season that you same bashers will be mouthing the same bull. So sit on your couches, scream at your widescreen and swill your beer while he makes liars out of all of you doubters.
Gosh but I'm going to miss these posts!

So God must have changed his mind. Instead of making Tebow an NFL superstar He wants timmy boy preaching to the SEC faithful while they sit on their couches, swill their beer and scream at the widescreen....
I guess you two sages have been waiting a long time to post about my writings concerning Tebow. I still say that the time he played for Denver was the most fun and exciting season of the NFL that I can remember. I am disappointed that he was unable to join and actually get to play for another team. I wish him the best. As far as you two smart asses go, I have no respect for anything you say or stand for. Have a nice day.

My feelings are seriously hurt here - the hate spewing sage who claims to know the "truth" about all things has no respect for me. Maybe if I start posting racist, homophobic, and anti-Obama rants he'll decide to be my BFF....

That would of been cool of the Cowboys called Tim Tebow up for yesterdays game!

Just for the record, gourdhead, please post any of my so-called racist or homophobic "rants" that you refer to. As for your Daddy Obama goes, I am and will forever be anti Obama. And as for you ever being my BFF- not in your lifetime.

Please reconsider, doc - I would never accuse you of posting racist or homophobic rants. I just figured if I started posting the same hateful bile that your bosom buddy albeadle does, you would respect me in the morning. And your juvenile "your Daddy Obama" attempted insult is just so cute.....

In a forum that's hosted the likes of melbedewy and albeadle33, it can be tough to distinguish onesself as a racist.

However, drmilled gave it a good shot over in Kitchen Sink a couple years ago where he said Obama was Nigerian. In fact, Obama's is an American, born in Hawaii to a Kenyan father and American mother.

Why did he confuse Kenya and Nigeria? Kenya sits on the Indian Ocean some 1500 miles from Nigeria, which sits on the Atlantic. Very different countries.

In fact, Kenya and Nigeria are about as similar as Ireland and Romania are, two countries that share a continent and are also about 1500 miles apart. But no one would ever confuse Ireland and Romania.

To drmilled, Nigeria and Kenya are indistinguishable countries full of black people. Only racism explains that kind of confusion.

Gosh, not exactly an apology for calling everyone "liars" last year, is it?

Perhaps another reminder of what drmilled wrote last year is needed:

Tebow is good enough to play football, maybe not in the NFL, but he is good enough to play football. It amazes me how many Heisman winners never amount to much in the NFL.
