Tebow Traded to the Jets

Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Namath, who led the Jets to their only Super Bowl title in 1969, was also among those who were unhappy.

“I’m just sorry that I can’t agree with this situation. I think it’s just a publicity stunt. I can’t go with it. I think it’s wrong,” Namath told 1050 ESPN Radio on Wednesday. “I don’t think they know what they’re doing over there.”

"As a former player, I know the last two weeks were not easy for Tim,” Elway said in a statement. “He was put in a difficult situation, and I commend him for how he handled it with the same first-class manner he displayed throughout his career in Denver.”

Really, John??? Is that really what you think? You wanted nothing more than to show him the door. And do you really think that trying to turn NFL games into Billy Graham-type revival meetings is "first-class?"

Hit the road, Jack, and don't you come back
No more, no more, no more, no more

"But I thought Sanchez record in the red zone wasn't too bad. "

The problem with sanchez are the interceptions and fumbles before the jets got to the red zone. I suspect he led the league in interceptions and fumbles returned for touchdowns.

This team needs help on both sides of the line as well as at linebacker and receiver.
Murray Hill sports bar Brother Jimmy's has created a "No Sex on the Beach" drink for Tebow, a virgin version of the traditional "Sex on the Beach."

Most jet fans would agree. The longest pass from scrimmage last year was a screen pass, the second longest was thrown by a receiver

It is disturbing, possibly sickening, that a No. 5 overall pick is being compared to someone who can't get it to the sideline accurately 1/4 of the time.
Jets finally have a prayer of making it back to the superbowl.
Just watched his press conference. Double T uses the words "a lot," a lot.
Every time a sports expert talks about Tebow these days I hear the phrase "through no fault of his own".

"through no fault of his own" he is a polarizing figure.
"through no fault of his own" he is a distraction.
"through no fault of his own" he will cause controversy.

"Not That There's Anything Wrong With That" became nttawwt. "through no fault of his own" should just become tnfoho for Tebow.

Tim "tnfoho" Tebow.
