Ted Cruz- I'm a Christian first, American second.

That's a pretty strange thing for someone to say who has been questioning the loyalty of Muslim Americans.
I guess its okay for Christians to put their faith first, but not other faiths. Imagine if a member of Congress declared they were a Muslim first, American second. How about I'm Jewish first, American second. I'm sure that would go over well.

Muslims are following a book called the Quran that instructs them to kill all those who aren't Muslims. Are you not paying attention to the Worldwide killings by those claiming that the Quran told them to do so?

You will find 100 Christian murders by nuts across the globe, and you will find thousands and thousands of such murders by Muslims. Comparing the two is ludicrous.

Well, the "first and second" is silly and patronizing anyway.

Like Trump invoking "Two Corinthians" in an address to Liberty University.

Uh, Don, honey, don't rely on your notes if you try to speak Bible. Your speechwriter meant for you to say "Second Corinthians", not "Two Corinthians." That puts you up there with the great gaffes of pol speeches. Didn't yo' mama make you sit through church at least a few time when you were a pup? You really do need that teleprompter.

Ted, Donald, and the rest of you candidates, unless you are a learned theologian, leave religion out. You'll embarrass yourselves.
