If I liked reading about sensational deaths and sex crimes, I'd really be a kev fan. But I don't have that particular...bent.

I too found it a bit strange to have all the news posts that while they happened in Vegas they are not unique to Vegas. But some of them are stirring up discussions. If I see one with several replies then I'll check out the discussion, otherwise I'll scroll on by. Getting new topics on a forum to drum up discussions is usually a good thing.

I do think it's normally acceptable to copy/paste an introductory paragraph of an article along with a link to the full story. This benefits the provider of the story as more people will be drawn in to want to click and read the rest of the story than if they just saw the title alone.

I feel somewhat privileged knowing I've been put on ignore because I have a different viewpoint on the "news type" threads.

For the record, I've scrolled past them while looking for the threads I'm interested in.

It's a good thing you didn't ask why these threads were popping up. Why the LVA police are in full attack over it.
Damn, maybe it will make the news then they can post it.

I don't read or post in word association threads or nascar threads. Now I have another category, the LVA crime blotter. Just a theory, Kev might be a frustrated wanna be cop that has become a junior crime buster. Good for him.
