Tell me about the Peppermill Fireside Lounge

Never been.

yeah I know I can look reviews elsewhere, but I'm curious what YOU like to eat/drink there
Haven't been there in a few years. need to get back. I like a nice cocktail there. Something like a martini, negroni, Manhattan....
The Lounge is nice if you can get in there on an uncrowded evening. The groovy fire pit only seats about 10 so off nights (think Wednesdays) will give you a better shot at getting a seat there. Otherwise you can just sit at the bar which is fine but no different than any other bar as far as atmosphere. They have a pretty nice drink menu including some monster sized drinks that are strong enough to knock the mayor of Toronto on his ass.

The food is ok. They stress quantity over quality. If you're drunk and have the munchies the menu will be very pleasing as some of the portions are insane. They have an 8 egg omlette as one example.
never been, it has been on my to do list for years. are the food and drink prices reasonable? do they have drink specials? or is it typical strip pricing? is there a dress code?

I'm planning to drop by there when I'm in Vegas in march for my daughter's 21st birthday. It seems like a very "Vegasy" place to show her
I have eaten there 3 times. First time breakfast , the portions were huge and the food decent ( think HHAGG portions). This was the only time they took our picture that was cool. Second time happy hour in the bar and it was fun, fabulous chicken fingers (worth going back for hand breaded white meat) interesting cocktail menu, third time for lunch and it was awful. I would go to the bar area only it is definitely" Vegasy" feel. I think it is worth doing once.

VegasDev.

No dress code, prices were ok not strip pricing but not cheap. Very nice happy hour in the bar I think it was 1/2 price off on appetizers and a specialty drink menu.
It's a cozy place to take a lover. Not a bar to swill beers with the boys.
The Fireside Lounge side of the Peppermill is much different than the cafe side. It is old school and set up with soft couches, tv's playing music videos, and the fire of course.

They have an everyday Happy Hour from 3-6 (link below). The food is okay, but the portions are big for happy hour small bites. The mojito for $5.50 on happy hour is very good.

Unfortunately PJ we lost that Mayor to Cancer last year. FYI
