tell us about your upcoming trip!

Speaking of meal coupy's, years ago I booked a weeks Vaca in July at the Fremont which included a punch card with 21 punches on it for 3 meals a day for Boyd props. I can't remember what I paid for the rooms since this was about 15 years ago, but I do remember airfare was $99.00 R/T from Mpls. Next trip Dec. 5th for a week.
Another thing I might add about those meal coupons. The way I see it Boyd is saying, "Go ahead and gamble and don't worry if you lose your entire bankroll because we will feed you and you won't starve here." (LOL)
We are heading from Ireland on the 16th of December but heading to Scottsdale for a week and then back to Sunset for Christmas 24-31st. This is our fifth Christmas trip.

Going to see the midnight wranglers ice hockey match.

Was thinking of staying in a mini suite in the Plaza on Christmas night - any suggestions - doesn't get a get review on tripadvisor.

4 nights 11/27 - 12/01. 1st night at East Side Cannery, remainder at Sam's Town. A lady friend from Phoenix is going to drive up and join me for the last three days. I'll let her pick a show - she'll probably choose a Cirque production, but I'm going to suggest Absinthe based on recent reviews. I'll spend some time on the strip for dining and entertainment, but my gambling (lots of craps, a few poker tournaments and a little Pai Gow) will take place DT and in outlying locals joints.

Looks to be a very quiet period (three days after Thanksgiving). No big headliners or concerts to speak of. Fine by me - fewer crowds and douchebags to deal with!
Just booked a rental car for our trip 12/2 to 12/4. Got a premium SUV for 44.75 total from Advantage Rental car. Figure it's just as cheap as a taxi back and forth and we can travel if we want to w/o paying additional taxi fares.

Going to Vegas the 17th through the 24th of November (coming home Thanksgiving Day!)

Three nights at Wynn and four nights at Cosmopolitan.

So far, just one show booked, to see The Lion King at Mandalay Bay.

We've seen all of the Cirque shows on previous trips (except Zumanity and Criss Someone)

Maybe I'll be brave and write a TR this time.

Damn, you'll be going to some nice casino/hotels!!! I have never stayed at the Wynn, but have always wanted too. It's out of my budget. I have stayed at the Cosmo for a night. I liked it. I also have seen Zumanity. Interesting show. Don't sit in front or even in the middle. Sit on the balcony or you have a high probability of getting singled out and brought up on stage. Or even having 2 fat ladies rubbing their boobies in your face. But that might not be so bad after all lol.
so i fly home on december 26.

then as it turns out, i need to be in california for new years eve.

since i am off work january 1 + 2, i am 99.97% sure i am going to just spend those two days in vegas. i just booked a comped luv tub room at the imperial palace.
Big trip in April. Celebrating my 55th Birthday and my retirement from the fire department after 33 years. 30 of those have been on the Hazardous Materials team.

I hope to stay healthy and in one piece. Anyway we will be spending six nights at the Signature in a one bedroom balcony suite. I know it is off the beaten path and doesn't have a casino but I think I am going to like the size and the quietness after being in a casino all day.

Any suggestions on a place for a nice birthday meal in the $100.00 per person range, not including alcohol.
12-25 thru 12-31 flying out of BNA nonstop with Southwest. Staying at Mirage car is reserved with Dollar, can't wait to get away from here for a week.
