Gee, it's been so much fun reading about everyone's plans that I had to book my own trip! Staying at the Orleans the first week-end in November. Plan to celebrate my birthday with lots of big wins. Nothing definte yet as far as shows, dining, etc. I'm trying to talk some friends into meeting us there as the wife shares my birthday.
Next Vegas trip is our annual SEMA show trip for hubby & I. Our airfare was booked on points and we're staying at Aria & Palazzo on comps to cover the week. Arriving on Oct. 31, we will head to Fremont Street to watch the bands & entertainment that night since we've found it's always a fun spot to spend Halloween.

We will be seeing Jersey Boys and Human Nature - both for the second time. For any others we'll just hit the Tickets4Tonite booth and see what we get.

We usually do one big splurge dinner on this trip - This year we are leaning towards Prime at Bellagio. We've always had wonderful meals there and it's been a couple years so it's about time for another visit!

Have to toss in my two cents worth about Zumanity - I've seen it twice and did enjoy it both times. Never had anyone "touch" me while being seated, and was never bothered by any comments from others in the audience - but then, I don't usually pay much attention to the audience chatter when I'm watching a show anyway. I did appreciate the skill & grace of the performers and the winding storyline that went with the show - I found many parts of it to be quite beautiful. I think were more "Cirque" type acrobatics in Zumanity than in Love & Viva Elvis combined. In fact, I've seen all the Vegas Cirque shows and the only one I can honestly say I really disliked was Believe. It was just lame, start to finish. But to each their own. I guess it just depends what you're expecting.
Mid December for me.

4 Hotels in 6 nights.
Fiesta Henderson , Plaza, Mirage, M-Resort

One new thing to do on this trip. Go to the MOnte Carlo. It is the only Las Vegas resort I have never been to.

FOUR MORE DAYS, SUCKERS!!!!

Sept 13 thru 20th...celebrating my birthday (9/17). Staying at the Rio, 4 nights comped. Daughter and friend arriving for a couple of days on the 17th...booked comped premium room at the Gold Coast for them.

Shows: Already purchased tickets to see Crazy Horse Paris, LeReve and Blue Man group. Thinking of picking up discount tickets for Absinthe and maybe use BOGO coupon for Legends in Concert.

Dining: Red Square, Flemings Prime Steakhouse, McCormick & Schmicks, The Flame and some buffets(Cosmo).

Misc. plans: Horseback riding in Kyle Canyon, Mt Charleston, pamper myself with a royal shave and haircut at the Art of Shaving at Mandalay Bay, spend some quality time drinking wine at the Rio wine cellar.

Gambling: Mostly BJ (3:2 kind) and video poker .... definitely will spend time playing BJ at the Golden Gate in the evening with those eye candy dealers...had a blast there last trip. Take my shot at the Lion's Share Progressive at the MGM.

Hopefully I can score a 1st class upgrade for ($100) when I get to the airport...been successful doing this with Sun Country the past several trips...nothing like flying 1st class to Vegas! Was able to bag a RT ticket for $219 (includes all taxes/fees) back in May. Reserved an intermediate size car from Enterprise for total of $167 for the week. Last month I received a voucher for $100 off for the car rental.....$67 for the week...sweet.

Arrive in on the 21st of this month, leave Oct 4th. Boys trip.

Taking my son to celebrate his 21st b-day which is on the 22nd. Staying for 13 days: 4 nites Golden Nugget..9 nites Tropicana=13 nites total

Arrival Day:

Limo ride from the airport down the strip to GN downtown, pictures at Las Vegas sign. Have a couple cocktails in the room and look around downtown for a bit then off to NYNY. Have my son on the NYNY roller-coaster at midnite so when he turns 21 at 12:01 he'll have something to remember.

Gaming:
Play some poker, few more drinks, bed. Poker/Poker/Poker every day..Vegas chip run-get a chip from as many hotels as we possibly can in 13 days (mount and frame them when we get home as a momento)

Activities:

BCFLIGHTS- ZIPLINE/MYSTERE/MAC KING/ABSINTHE/dualing Pianos Harrahs, maybe Stone Temple Pilots concert at the PEARL (not sure tho as I saw them last nite near Toronto)hit the pool every day for sure

Meals:
Flame/Chicago Joes/HHAGG/Lotus of Siam/Ellis Island Steak special (these are the for sures)

Drive to San Diego for the Chargers vs Dolphins..back to Vegas for the last couple days

MY Mission during trip: To keep the boy away from the HO's. Not allow him more than 30 seconds with any one porn-slapper. Make sure he doesn't get 86'd at any casino. Beyond that just about ANYTHING goes and most importantly, to make sure he has a birthday he will NEVER forget!!!
