I have a week in Vegas in January, air only at this point. Thinking about trying out either the Plaza downtown or Tropicana for three nights before moving on to M resort for the other four (if their room offer ever gets here!).

We will be arriving via SW airlines out of Albuquerque December 24th for 5 nights. So far booked the Monte Carlo 2 nights and the wynnn 3 nights. Also got an offer for 3 nights in a suite ar the stratosphere. All above offers are comped with free play. Really looking forward to being away from the madness of Christmas.

We don't do the fine dining and eat breakfast ala buffet usually at one of the station casinos. We go to In n Out at least once and go to Ellis island, hard rock for the mr Luckys for the 777 steak and shrimp special , and of course will hit Dupars. Christmas eve and Christmas day we might look for something special and we might end up at the silverton's buffet. They usually have good food and great deals and I will have coupons of course.
No shows booked at this time really think that a lot of them will be dark. Do plan on spending some time in the wynn room. 1st time staying there and I love the casino. I actually win there so hoping the streak will continue. Maybe they will give us a coupon for the buffet for Christmas.

Jen looks like we'll be there at the same time. Hoping it's quiet and low crowds.

Going 10/21 - 10/28, 5 nights at the Orleans and a side trip for 2 nights to L.A.
Hoping to do a few new restaurants, maybe Wicked Spoon. Want to check out the remodeled Plaza.
Mostly just go and have fun. And maybe win something for a change.

you might get some crowds at the end of your trip due to new years. but last year, i didnt really notice an increase in people until the 30th. it was like they all poured in when i went to bed. when i woke up and went downstairs to get coffee, i was shocked at the amount of people that were in what was previously an empty casino for three days.

Four more days for me. Lot's of gambling, eating good food and shopping for me! Just hope that the gambling Gods are good to me.

Jen I will take it if it gets me out of the madness of Christmas at home. I'm the "cook" and do all the Christmas shopping, decorating, wrapping, cleaning , etc. I'm tired of it. I do thanksgiving to. We are combining thanksgiving and Christmas for 1 big meal and giving the kids money. Hoping my husband sees how easy it is and we will get to spoil ourselves at Christmas. I will pack a little surprise for the hubby for doing what I want to do.

you will absolutely love being in vegas for christmas.
