tell us about your upcoming trip!

We are going November 15-19 for our one year anniversary. We are flying into LAX and driving to Vegas. Staying at the Tropicana again. I really want to see Carrot Top based on all I have read, but my husband is totally against it. Any thoughts? Also as an anniversary present I am taking him to exotic racing, hope he likes it. Plan on seeing O. Any ideas for a really good comedy show since apparently, Carrot Top is out? Also plan on going to the Neon Museum. Our last trip in March we went out to M Resort and ate at Hash House, which is awesome. Still sort of in the planning stages. There is so much to do which is why we go at least twice per year. We love Vegas!!!

We're getting things put together for our trip 12/6 thru 12/10. Flights on SWA are all confirmed. Will make arrangements for a room at Paris in the next day or two. $275.80 for 4 nights including taxes. We've never stayed there that cheap before. We want to spend some time at the NFR Christmas Expo. We're not rodeo type people, but they do have some high quality and interesting things there..silversmiths, boots, etc. Also want to check out the Plaza.

I will be in Vegas 12-8 though? for 3-5 days.
Please tell me about shopping at the "Cowboy Christmas" or any other Rodeo events.
I am looking for western related gifts but not ropes, saddle or boots, which is all I found last year.
I visited the Southpoint and Sam's Town but didn't find smaller western items. Ceramic boots (decor type items) or wall art .
I also might try the BOB (Buffet of Bufet's ) again.

The Christmas Expo is held at the Hilton Convention Ctr. There's about 400 exhibitors...lots to see and the best part is it's all free admission. You just can't imagine how much stuff it there. Two years ago my wife and I each got a pair of boots and they gave each of us a lap blanket free!! Didn't have room for everything in our suitcases, so we had to buy an extra cheap suitcase to bring things home.

i keep doing that, its the four queens. the offer came from binions. there is a 100% chance of me telling the cab driver "binions" instead of four queens.

Haven't made a trip to Vegas in like 4 years...and it now appears, I'll be going Sept 2012. Excited, no not really. We are planning on using our timeshare and staying at the Marriot Grande Chateau. Our last trip was a good time, but a losing trip. I am so disappointed that City Center took the beautiful view away.
