Ten of the best films set in Las Vegas per the Guardian

Here is the Guardian's ten best films set in Las Vegas. I'm not sure if they had the chance to watch Last Vegas when this was done. I think I've seen everyone of them.

1. Ocean's Eleven (the original one with Frank and the boys)
2. Viva Las Vegas
3. Diamonds are Forever
4. Bugsy (they admit that only parts were shot in Vegas)
5. Casino
6. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
7. Showgirls (definitely in Vegas, but not sure if it should be one of the ten best)
8. Leaving Las Vegas
9. The Hangover
10. Swingers
No Miss Congeniality 2?
Diamonds are Forever has some great film of 70's Vegas. The Plaza is merely a sign. Some downtown video pre-canopy.

Umm, . . . and what about:

The Amazing Colossal Man

and:

Mars Attacks!

"The number one family destination in the world...."
Vegas Vacation

Is The Hangover ranked #9...or were they in no particular order?

"I believe I can fly...."
and what about The Hangover III ???

Haven't seen Hangover III and maybe it came out after the list was made. I would replace Showgirls with Vegas Vacation.

I actually enjoyed Oceans Eleven (the second one).
They didn't like Honeymoon in Vegas? With the flying Elvises?
Vegas Vacation? With the Griswolds?

Some list.
And what about "the cooler" and "hard eight" both vegas films.
I don't know about that list,

I'm outta here and headed to Vegas.

No Nicki ???? .............. No Nick Pappagiorgio ?????

Vegas Vacation probably showed the most of Vegas than any movie;
The Strip, Downtown, Neon Museum, the Mirage, Wayne Newton's place, Sigfried and Roy,
the Volcano, Hoover Dam, the MGM, etc, etc, etc.

Not only was the movie funny, but I noticed the movie has a lot of moral and ethical subtleties.
It all started with Clark's gambling addiction.
There was Cousin Eddie being truly generous with his money to Clark,
and Cousin Catherine staying married to Cousin Eddie, through all the hardships.
Ellen not cheating on Clark, although Wayne Newton would have given her anything.
Clark and Ellen taking steps to reprimand both Rusty and Audrey when they were going astray.
Sid Caesar (who just recently passed last week) wanting "Family" so bad, and Clark accepting him into his.
...... and not "stealing" the keno ticket even though they needed the money.
They waited until they were forced to pick it up, before it was vacuumed up.

"Now in order to get to your rooms, you're going to have to go this way through the casino,
veer to the left. Take a sharp right at the first giant palm tree.
You'll see a group of blackjack tables. Not baccarat, not craps, blackjack.
Keep going, then wind around to your left.
If you get to the pool, you've gone too far, back up and take another right.
You'll see a bank of elevators. Those aren't your elevators, stay away from them.
But keep going, you'll see another bank of elevators, the gold elevators, those are yours.
Take them up to the tenth floor, take a right at the end of the hall and you'll find your room.
Any questions?"
