Ten reason Why I Love Binion's!
Hmm..after thinking about it, I guess I've never given Binions much of a chance. I don't think we've ever ventured very far past the front. We did eat in the steak house at the top( which was phenomenal, especially witht he LVA coup) one time and would definitely do it again. I'll have to make it a point to explore next time we visit. Oh yea, and I guess we'll have to do the BBQ rib place, you're not the first to mention what a great place it is for bbq. I've always heard what a great deal it is.
While is nice to focus on all the good things, one has to balance that with their tables games having terribly downgraded rules from a few years ago, and most of their VP being horrible compared to the rest of downtown.
Their coffee shop went from excellent to mediocre, as has the hamburger place- if they are even still open.
I greatly preferred the old photo with the high denomination bills in a horseshoe, even if some of them turned out to be fake.

I look at Binions and remember its greatness. Damn, they even exiled Benny's statue to South Point.
Used to be better when they had a good coffee shop, $5 single deck BJ with halfway decent rules, and one of the best poker rooms in town(for years it was Mirage #1, Horseshoe #2.

Sorry to rain on your thread but I think Binion's is worst casino downtown. I wish someone would buy it and make it nice. You can only get a cup of beer comped playing VP...what a joke that place is.
... a cup of beer lmao!!
I do great on that wheel poker there. Last year I hit a royal and the next day I hit 4 aces with a kicker on those machines. Couple of weeks ago I was dealt quad two's with a kicker.

Have to agree !00%. When the owner of the Four Queens bought Binion's a number of years ago, I had hopes that the gaming, especially video poker, would improve. But that didn't happen.

Very strange that the same owner would have both the best video poker downtown and the worst video poker downtown.
I don't play table games so I would never notice that aspect of it. And I didn't get to visit during it's glory days, but I certainly enjoy what they have going now.
