Ten Reasons Why I Love Binion’s

I don't play table games so I would never notice that aspect of it. And I didn't get to visit during it's glory days, but I certainly enjoy what they have going now.

I will always have fond memories of Binion's. My first casino gambling was at Binion's. Back then we would take the bus downtown from the strip and play 25 cent craps. I don't know if it is true or not but I remember folks would talk of Binion's as the casino with no minimum and no maximum on it's table games.

Everything changes

Benny Binion always said he would take any bet, the only caveat was your first bet would be your biggest. Not sure about no minimums, but they had low stakes BJ for years.

The guy who almost took down Binions. I remember seeing this guy on the tube or somewhere, travel channel? Also I'm pretty sure Benny Binion would take any bet, don't recall if the first had to be the biggest, but makes sense.

There was a show titled "The Hungry Detective", which followed a retired detective around to various restaurants. He did a Vegas show and visited the steak house at Binions. He did not have steak. He had chicken fried lobster. It really looks good, but the calories and fat content are probably off the charts.
