Terribles Hotel Stay Notes

Stayed at Terribles on a 7 day comp Aug 2-Aug 9th

1. Very smokey casino where the smoke drifts into your room.

2. Best Cafe I have been to in Vegas. Cheap prices.. Great food..

3. Betting over $50 a hand will have a pit boss glued to the table and calling security to watch you.

4. Cashing in more then $500 will require a call to security

5. Cafe refused to give me To Go food even when the pit boss called cafe after betting 100-200 a hand and staying in the hotel. This was the only request I had during my stay and was denied..

6. Total coin in was $25,250

7. Lots of Kiosk games. Won a total of $425 in free slot play with various games.

8. Walk from my room to the casino was 30 seconds. Walk to my car from my room was 1 minute.

9. No ice machines. They make you use the pop machine in the gift shop.

10. Prices at the gift shop for beer and other items were cheaper then 7-11.

11. Room had a patio, large bathroom, plasma tv with only 5 channels, and comfortable bed.

12. I am stupid for accepting a comped trip to Terribles for 7 days.

13. Checked out 3 days early and moved to the Aria to live in luxury for the remaining 3 days. Aria is niiiiice with the best bed I have EVER slept in.

Those are my thoughts....

I love the various promos Terribles runs. It takes a computer to keep track of them all. Lots of free play, food credits.
I stayed in the Tower and had an ice machine, but the one in the gift shop was closer.
Bood is good and cheap. I wouldn't call it the best but it is good.
TV selection sucks.
I'm not sure I could stay seven days, but three is fine.

Having stayed one night at Terribles I think your commentary is very accurate.

This is likely due to local ordinance.

I hope the smoke didn't make you sick. It's my most vivid memory of Terrible's... the place reeks.

I have stayed in those new tower rooms with the patio many times and I really enjoy those rooms....and the 30 second walk to your room and not dealing with elevators. I really enjoy lounging on the patio and reading.

That said, 3 nights is enjoyable, but plenty. I do like to stay there, the host (Tanya) is fantastic and they are always happy to take me to shows or wherever in the limo. I agree I prefer to stay a few days then move to another property.

The cafe is great, lots of food for cheap, good food. The eggs bene here are the best I've had anywhere.

I guess the biggest issue I had was I always bet $30 my first hand as a ritual. Then I increase my bet to $75 to $300. The bit boss both trips rated my bet as $30 for the entire time at the table. When I talked to Tawnya she mentioned my average bet was $30. I was kinda upset.. then again whats the point of a higher rating if there is nothing to really give me at Terribles.

They got coffee mugs and T-shirts.
