Quick glance of the pic I thought DD grew a hand shaped tomato.

Army slugs, or something like that. I had them year before last? They are NASTY critter's. They'll decimate the entire crop w/in two day and they are really hard to see, have to look very closely to see 'em. When you squish 'em green goo splatter's everywhere.

I always wonder if tomato worm eggs are in the tomato plant seedss or if they somehow are transported to tomato plants.

They are butt ugly. I would not have the courage to even have one in my hand.

Get rid of them by any means, that would be called " Vegetable Justice "
