Excerpted from a a Washington Post article that used statistics gathered from the White House and the CDC.
In my America, the terror massacres in Bowling Green and Atlanta never happened, so your stats might differ.
Did you know that you are 73 times more likely to die by falling down stairs than in a terror attack?
That almost 28 times as many Americans freeze to death then are killed by terrorist?
You are 5.8 times more likely to die from constipation than in an attack.
Three times more likely to fall off a cliff, or be killed by a wild, non domestic animal.
Five times more likely to die of Legionnaires Disease.
In fact, one of the very very very few ways you are more like to die from a terror attack than is if you somehow die from Ebola.

Hera is a FACT that billryan failed to mention - if the U.S. does not implement vetting , the odds of terrorist activity in the U.S. with rise incrementally.

I flew shortly after 9/11. All of my flights were one quarter full and one flight on a 757 only had 7 passengers. Yes your odds may not be that high, but terrorism can cripple an economy out of fear. Just ask the Germans and the French about how they feel about taking refugees after the terrorist attacks they experienced.

I argued this point with a liberal one time, who advocated that even if an average of one plane blew up each week, it was still very safe to fly.

Roulette hit it on the head. Fear of terrorism can cripple an economy, so why is this current administration promoting such fear? Talking about fake attaks( their spelling, not mine), constantly inciting fear? We are Americans . We kicked Hitler's Nazi ass, stomped on Hussien. We are not supposed to live in fear.
The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. That's worth repeating. THE ONLY THING WE HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF. Remember when we had leaders that inspired, not that sought to make people cower?

I don't want terrorists living in America. As I said earlier, look at the turnaround of the French and the Germans after they suffered terrorist attacks. They were not happy and wanted their governments to tighten their immigration policies.

If we're in little danger from terrorism, then why has Obama spent approximately 1/3rd of a trillion dollars to prevent terrorism? Boiler suspects that it's far cheaper to keep terrorist off of American soil than it is to allow them to enter the United States and then work really really hard to stop these nuts from blowing people up.

Boils says Obama spent third of a billion dollars over eight years. Lets round it up to 360 million. Money Obama spent on terrorism was about $45 million a year, according to Boils. Not sure where he got his figures but I'm going with them.
The Nevada Sports Books took in $135 million in bets on the Super Bowl last weekend.
Kind of puts it in perspective doesn't it.
If I had to guess, I'd say boils figures are way off, but lets give him the benefit of the doubt.
