Terrorism in my America.

Herein lies my problem with typical liberal. This is a giant shitload of money, but it's only "one and a half cents of every dollar".

A trillion here, a trillion there, pretty soon, you're talking real money.
I apparently UNDERSTATED the Homeland Security budget expenditures under Obama. I originally looked at the "Gross Budget" and incorrectly assumed that this is all that Obama and friends spent. The agency also takes in fees.............I'm guessing on airlines and anything else they can squeeze money from, and I didn't include this approximately $12 billion per year. That moves the 8 years of Obama spending closer to $440,000,000,000 ($0.44 trillion).

Billy, this is somewhat of an estimate as I didn't pull up each year, but I did look at four of the eight annual budgets. My number is pretty damn close. Since you don't believe me, you might look for each budget on your own. See below.

Once again, why did Obama spend this money if terrorism isn't a problem?

Homeland security budets for the past decade or so

No one argues that, but will you concede spending a penny and a half of every dollar pretty much means its not your top priority?
Indy seems to think Homelands entire budget and mission is preventing terrorism. He's wrong, but why let facts get in the way.

Terrorism is a real problem and needs a thoughtful solution. I would opine many of the people who are needed to help fight Islamic extremism are currently being stiff-armed, singled out, and stereo typed by the current administration and its policies. But elections have consequences. This is how the alt-right wants to go forward. Americans should voice their opinions to their legislators accordingly.

I'm curious PJ, who are the ones who are needed to fight islamic terrorism and why are they being "stiff armed" and "stereotyped"?

All the muslims who aren't terrorists.

Fair enough and I agree. Now how does immigration know which ones aren't, especially if coming from a country with little or no working government?

I know. I know. You tie heavy weights to them and throw them in a pond. If they float, they are terrorist. If they drown, they are innocent.
Simple solutions for simple minds.
