Timothy McVeigh, Eric Rudolph and even the recent Las Vegas cop killers were all part of the conservative anti-government movement. And a wide range of Republicans have shown they are willing to destroy the U.S. economy for decades to simply get their way. If they aren't terrorists what are they?

I'm sure with malliber's line of logic that many Democrats must support the unabomber and Mr. Gacy.

Mr. Gacy's motives weren't to achieve some sort of political goal. (A defining characteristic of what is considered terrorism). As far as the Unabomber goes he was a Luddite not a Democrat or even a liberal. Most hard core liberals are very pro technology. The unabomber wanted to turn back the clock and go back to the way things were without technology. Resistance to change is a hallmark of conservatism.

What went on at the Bundy ranch was mainstream conservatism. It was featured on Fox News and throughout the conservative media. The economic terrorism the Republican party engages in is also mainstream conservatism. So it is not a valid comparison because in the Republican party the inmates run the asylum, and they aren't considered fringe.

Well if you want to go all technical, the Vegas Cop Killers were Anarchists who were previously associated with the Occupy Movement....Not Republicans or even conservatives.

But in any event all the aforementioned were lone wolf nut jobs. You'd be just as accurate smearing them all as Christian or Atheist Terrorists as Republican or Democrat.
