The road ahead for Draft Kings and Fan Duel just got even more difficult. Texas has now joined New York, Nevada and Illinois in declaring daily fantasy sports illegal gambling. Attorneys general for three of the four most populated states have now made rulings against the DFS industry while largely upholding season-long fantasy as a legal endeavor (as Congress put that into law several years ago).
