Thanks Westie, for the link on the paid side leting us know that Phantom is ending its run Sept 2, 2012.
So anyone going , please watch for me, as I was hoping to see it again. I loved the production.

It also pays to keep an eye on the LVA QOD and Today's News pages. Both are great sources of info for this type of news, and since you're spending time on this site anyway it's not a big inconvenience. For example, the QOD on January 13 had info about several shows that are moving or closing in Vegas for the coming year, including the Phantom.

I've seen Phantom twice but never in Las Vegas. It is my understanding that the LV version is slightly shorter so they don't have to have an intermission. I thought that theatre was built specifically for the show, so I wonder what they are planning to do after it is over? I also wonder if any other hotel will try to pick it up?

We had front row tickets middle center, and it was GREAT. No there is not a intermission, but it was still very good. The costumes were amazing. I have seen it 3 other times in my home city. Even DH is a fan of it. I am surprised it is closing.
