Thanksgiving In Vegas!

Seems easy enough...stop bailing her out jail. Don't accept calls, pleas from jail for cash or items form the store. Jail seems like the safest place for her.
Buy yourself a new laptop, car, phone or whatever else you keep using as a reason to see her in order to get something back.
Open your eyes to the fact that you are being used and walk away from everything. Or accept that the drama, money pit and emotional roller coaster and let it continue. It is a choice you are making to let it continue. As soon as you refuse to give her one dollar more (and stick to it), she will have no choice but to move on to someone who will, and from all you have said, she won't hesitate to do so. Best of luck....but you are the one choosing to let it continue.

So now she signed her truck over to me so we could get it out of the impound lot. Because she hadn't registered her car on time, there were penalties to re-register the truck. Cost $230. Getting out the truck cost $440 as they charge $190 for the tow, and $45 each day it's in the lot. Then they charge you some bullshit charge of $70 for a lien they never put on the car.

Her former boyfriend paid for 2 nights at the Motel 6, and I paid for 2 more nights so she could stay there until Monday. I also added insurance so the car could be driven with no worries about getting pulled over. That only cost $59 or $295 for a year. The truck still has to be smoged by Nov. 28th.

Now for the best part. She realizes that she needs to go to rehab, and she contacted Kaiser Permanente to be check in on Monday. It's a three month treatment and they will board her and feed her while she's there. Really a load off my mind. She called her parents, and they agreed to put her up for a while when she gets out. I hope it works, because she was in prison longer than that, and went back to her old ways when she got out. Unfortunately, this dickhead whose house she went to is a total scum bag. When she was in prison and talking to him on the phone, he said he would take care of her and maybe even marry her. What a joke. If she had stayed in prison longer, when new girls came into her area, she would have found out what a scumbag that this guy was or is. While she was there, he stole an older woman's jewelry, and then told her he could get it back for $4000. She paid him, and after he got the money went right to a casino and blew it all. He presented her with some costume jewelry which was worth garbage. I'm going to send some people to his house to get back her laptop, and I bet he's never dealt with Samoans before. She'll get her laptop back, or this guy won't be walking too long.

So hopefully, some good will come of this, and she'll finally straighten out for good. I know it's a long shot, but I have faith in her. Say a prayer that everything works out OK!
