That cheering you hear is likely.....

All your liberal friends. It's just been reported that Justice Antonin Scalia has passed away of natural causes.....buckle your seat belts folks.
Is there anyone here on the right that isn't a total assclown?
One of the most influential Justices in Supreme Court history dies, and that is your reaction?
Am I sorry he is dead? Of course. Am I happy Obama will get to appoint another Justice? Absolutely, but that doesn't change the simple fact a father of nine and grandfather of almost forty has passed.
My sinceres condolences a.d prayers to his family.
You can’t deny this changes everything. I practiced law for five years. I respect Justice Scalia even if the rumor is true and he was found with a ball gag in his mouth. I suspect he has been ill for many years. It was sad to watch his opinions go from well thought out reasoned ones to whatever he could crib from cable news. His declining ability to reason was a sign of dementia.
My condolences to Antonin Scalia's family. As a moderate Republican, I didn't agree with many of his decisions, particularly in latter years. Some were real head-scratchers. But I appreciate his commitment to the country and the bench.

I can say I'm not surprised by the tone of this thread. And it will only get worse as others check in. Sigh.

Billryan, you calling anyone an ass clown is really laughable! Yes, I could have posted that Scalia was a true American Hero, but then all the ass clowns would have jumped on that as well. Understanding the climate around here, I opted to go with the obvious. And you will soon see where this thread goes. The political reaction to this will be enormous.

You call it laughable, others call it spot on!

You mean this isn't going to be a thoughtful analysis of what the death of sitting Supreme Court Justice means, and what the impact of Obama getting to appoint his replacement means?
Can you say Bork....drag this out for a year, that's the liberal way.
Boiler understand why Liberals would be excited. Justice Scalia supported a staunch following of the Constitution..............regardless of which agenda was the beneficiary.

Name one vote he cast that wasn't deeply conservative?
