That Labron James is a playa...

Looks like Cleveland should have kept him....lol.
conceited. over paid street thug! along with paid off officiating makes the game a joke. Just like boxing, pay the right Official and get your way!
“All the people that were rooting for me to fail… at the end of the day, tomorrow they have to wake up and have the same life that (they had) before they woke up today,” James said. “They got the same personal problems they had today. And I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things I want to do.” (L. James)

Yeah,,, another great human being.

The NBA is pretty much dead to me. Just glad that Clay Clay Bennett's (Stern's cabana boy) team got buried.

I am glad the finals are over. Not a basketball fan at all and not a fan of Lebron. It annoys me that it is almost July and basketball is still going on. I"m ready for some football.
OH. Were there basketball playoffs going on? I didn't know.

I haven't watched B-ball since the days when the Lakers and Celtics went at it. I didn't even like the game but to watch bird and kareem and the rest play was phenomenal.

J
I haven't watched much basketball since Jorden retired. Although I was quite happy that Kobe and the Lakers were given the boot and ended up watching the finals.

One good thing about James, he got a lot of flack for passing the ball instead of shooting it. Maybe he learned something about the game?
Although he tends to take over at times, not always with good results when his shot is off, LeBron has been known as a team player since high school. Cleveland cannot compete in bidding wars against big market teams, but I believe that LeBron would have stayed if he had felt after the last failed attempt that Cleveland could still win a title. LeBron's biggest sin (IMO as an Akronite) was that he didn't leave town with class. But he was young. I hope and trust he will maintain his connection with Akron because it is good for the youth of the city.

I agree that NBA basketball is not as appealing as pro baseball, football, or hockey for numerous reasons.
After the Hornets left Charlotte and the NBA Vegas Thugfest I said "to Hell" with the NBA.
I'm not a Lebron fan, but "street thug"?

The playoffs were outstanding even though my fav player and team (Rose, Bulls) crashed and burned.

Basketball not as appealing as Baseball? Does that mean that someone finds Baseball appealing?

"NBA Vegas Thugfest" was that worse than the NFL Vikings "loveboat" scandal? If I bailed on a sport because some 23 year old millionaires behaved badly, what sports would be left?

Dressage? They seem nice.
