How long ago did you get the money? I've seen the IRS screw up and ask for their money back.


This April will be three years. When I first retired my return was complicated, at least complicated for me. I had to write them a check for 8k then I got the letter from them and my check.


You will be okay then. I've seen them give a date to get them their money back or they would then start charging interest.

I'm having the same issue with "underlining", and others have cited the same issue. I don't know of a solution.
