This crap has gone entirely too far. My little sister is a cop in a small to med town in W Va and her son, my nephew of 8yrs old is starting to catch crap from some schoolmates.Saying derogative things because she's a cop.WTH? If a generation of kids grow up with no respect for the law and those who enforce it, I think it doesn't bode well at all for the future of our country.
and then we have this story.. second graders??..and there parents didn't even know!? OMG and holy sh!t, I would go ballistic if I forund out a teacher did this with my kid.

Second Graders Spend Recess Protesting Ferguson. Are They Too Young?
'The 20-odd people chanting “Honk if you want justice,” on a New Bedford, Massachusetts sidewalk Dec. 12 got a lot of attention. They were second graders, rallying against police for the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. While the rest of their class enjoyed 11:30 recess that morning, these 7 and 8-year-old protesters stood by the side of the road in front of the Alma Del Mar Charter School holding signs including one that read, “Please don’t shoot me, Ferguson.”

I think Charles Barkley nailed it when he said in support of the police-"“[W]e have to be really careful with the cops, because if it wasn’t for the cops we would be living in the Wild, Wild West in our neighborhoods,” he said. “We can’t pick out certain incidentals that don’t go our way and act like the cops are all bad…. Do you know how bad some of these neighborhoods would be if it wasn’t for the cops?”
