This is too far

My dad was a cop back in the late 1960's and all thru the 1970s, when everyone called cops pigs........... I was in high school 1976 to 1980 and defended dads reputation more than once to the chagrin of my religious mom. Even today I keep finding myself protecting cops to this day! Its gotta be the most thankless damned job I have ever seen, but they are the 1st ones we call when shits hitting the fan!

and also the guy who just used the quote button. See? Its not that hard....

the hard part is finding a quoted statement of mine that backs up your BS statement. You cant.

And thats why Hoops' normal contributions on this forum are sentences that end with a "?" When Hoops tries to end a sentence with a "." he is typically called out for making shit up by people who know how to use the quote button or link to a journalistic source.

Yep, well said weggie, definitely a thankless job. It's definitely a bit different when a member of the family is a cop.

Candy-Of course there's some major asswipe cops out there who are on a power trip, I've met one or two myself but as a whole I think they are a good group who've chosen a career path to really want to help people. It sure isn't to get rich. Maybe after a while they start getting tired of people being abusive to them. I don't think there's a whole lot of love between the cops and people in the poorer neighborhoods. It almost seems like it's become an us against them attitude amongst them?

PJ-Nevada ranchers? HUH? This article is about second graders protesting theFeruson decision.

My whole point is I think second graders(what is that? 7-8yrs old?) are just way too young, maybe their PARENTS might want to start educating them or making them aware of certain social issues but it sure as hell isn't up to a teacher in the classroom. I've had many teachers who've tried to pawn there beliefs/opinions off on the class and I along with others thought the teacher a major jerk for trying to do so.

What about a genertion of kids growing to hate the Federal Government based on the enforcement of the law on a Nevada cattle ranch?

I dont agree with Ferguson protestors in so far as I think the Michael Brown shooting was likely justified. Plenty of other recent incidents of this kind do seem highly suspect. And racism in police departments accross the country is rampant....as is our incarceration of low level drug offenders. But regardless if I agree with people or not I cant think of any better way of confronting an issue than with peaceful demonstrations. Can you?

The issue is using kids who don't know any better to make a political statement.

Granted there are racist cops, just as racists in the NFL, civil rights leaders, and honest politicians.

Did you see the one of the cop who tased a 70 plus year old man twice? Cop had stopped the man for an expired inspection sticker, pulled him over at what looked like a convenience store or something. The man was trying to explain that the tags were dealer tags, the cop slammed him against the hood of the squad car. The cop then threw him to the ground and tased him once, then again when he tried to get up. The TV report said the cop "is on administrative leave pending investigation." It was all on camera, I guess from the cop's vehicle. The cop's face was of pure hate. I didn't catch where this happened.

Both were caucasian, BTW. Bad cop for sure. Bad.

That's not true. White people only do such things to black people.

PJ, I've asked you about ten questions which you've refused to answer. There is no question about that.

Oh snap! And you're right.

I provide thoughtful opinions and facts backed up by a source (when necessary) on this board. I have the courage to do that. And if you had thoughtful opinions and facts you would do the same. But you don't.

Your contributions to this board are to demand answers to questions - or to tell an unverifiable story about one of your "expert" friends. After Bengazhi I don't answer questions on your game show anymore. I spent two years answering your questions about Obama's big cover up...and now I'm ashamed for lowering myself to play that game.

So I'll say it again. Statements fact don't end with a question mark - and that's why every point Boilerman makes ends with one.
Since we're on the subject, from The Smoking Gun: "Witness 40": Exposing A Fraud In Ferguson

'DECEMBER 15--The grand jury witness who testified that she saw Michael Brown pummel a cop before charging at him “like a football player, head down,” is a troubled, bipolar Missouri woman with a criminal past who has a history of making racist remarks and once insinuated herself into another high-profile St. Louis criminal case with claims that police eventually dismissed as a “complete fabrication,” The Smoking Gun has learned.'

And the prosecutor knew it, yet put her on the stand.
