This person had major guts to make this Super Bowl bet

My book had that same bet at 60-1....So I put a lousy 2 dollars on it and super naturally it hits for $120.....No worries though as time goes forward I will lose it all back and will have to re-load my account as a usual practice anyhow. Been betting sports for 40 years now and have always lost overall....Started out as a young man betting $200-$400 a game....Back then you had no choice if you were a bettor but to use a local bookie as I did not live in Vegas, and they always beat me, every year, year in, year out.

Nowadays, as older and wiser??? I have an internet betting account and sports betting is strictly to me....For amusement only. It gives me something to do...like a hobby......I bet $5-$10 on games and parlays just for something to keep me busy and occupied as forced retirement is certainly somewhat boring. I know I will always lose in the end as NOBODY alive can beat the system long term....Read and see about all the so called experts that want to sell you their picks for games....Think about it....If they are so good at picking sports winners, why do they need to spend money advertising and trying so hard to get you to sign up with their service...All they need to do is pick the winners, make the bet...collect the cash....do it again the next day, and so on and so forth until they have millions or billions to live a kings lifestyle like Bill Gates or Donald Trump.

Anybody want to buy my picks...WARNING...Go opposite.
Imagine what his main bets were.....

That's not even a big gamble or a big bet, it's only a grand.

I watched Charles Barkley dropping 30k-40k a spin at roulette last night after the game at Mandalay Bay. I also heard a guy at MB last night bet 750k on the under.
There have been 6 safeties in Superbowl history, and there have been 46 Superbowls.

You do the math.

The $1000 is not what is shocking its that its abet on the first score of the game being a safety. Who could have guessed that? 50 to 1 sounds low to me.

Now we need to find out how many field goals and touchdowns were scored over 46 games also to be able to calulate the correct odds for this bet.

With odds of approx 8-1 for a safety to be scored in any random Super Bowl Game at any time during the game it would seem 50-1 or 60-1 would be very close or correct odds if the safety had to be scored as the first score of the game by the Giants ( The better defensive team).
