Thoughts and Prayers again please

You and your family are in my prayers.
It's so hard to let our pets go they are like our children. I do view as letting them go as a gift. Not letting them suffer is repayment for years of loyalty and love. So sorry for your loss.
Medic - you're in our prayers. All I can say is I understand what you're going through. My brother passed away suddenly at the end of July at the age of 43. It was totally unexpected and completely devastating for our family. The week before he passed we had to put both our 15 yr old cat and our 11 yr old dog down within 4 days of each other, again both unexpectedly. At this point,we take it one day at a time - just take baby steps, as a close friend told me. You will get through this, and you'll have good days along with the bad ones. Just know that the people around you are there for you, and you can draw so much strength from knowing they care. Cherish the time you have with your loved ones - you never know what the next day will bring.
Medic, My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Always keep the good memories in your mind and all the love you have ever felt in your heart. I hope some good news comes your way, you more than deserve it.
Thank you all so much it mean alot. As you know Wed was a week without ou beloved Sheba. Tuesday was a hard day, so I went looking at dogs at our local humane society. I found 2 I fell in love with. I went home and Wed wewent to look at them, one was not available due to being placed on medication. the other a puppy, had no interest in us. We actually saw 2 other dogs. We fell in love with a shepard/Great Pyernse and a full blooded lab. We could not take the big dog allthough we fell in love with her due to our present house size. We picked a 5 month old lab, who was found wandering the streets with a huge gash and was medicatd for 2 months. Her name"Deba", she was named by the rescue folks before we saw her. With a long "e" to sound like Sheba. Funny how things work out.

We love her, but not yet like we did our Sheba. I always tell people, you do not pick the dog the dog picks you. We went looking at 3 other dog, and not one of them were those. I know those dogs will find a loving home. I know our puppy has.

I hope things pick up for you. The problem with dogs/cats is that they don't live long enough. My dog has suddenly gone mostly blind from cataracts and mostly deaf from old age. The best we can tell, she can see movement and shadows and hears very loud sounds. Sadly, she has stopped growling and trying to bite me every night when I come to bed.
Lynn I'm so sorry! Hugs and good thoughts out to you.
So sorry medic, thoughts and prayers going out to you.

JOHN

PS Putting down our beloved family dog was prob the hardest thing i've ever done. I dont want another dog to this day. I definitely sympathize.
