Ticket In, Ticket Out

We have noticed that the slot payout tickets have gone from being good from 30/60 days to 180 days. This is good news for all of us, and the casinos are probably doing it because the State of Nevada now keeps the money from uncashed tickets instead of it being a profit for the Casino. So far we've noticed it at Bill's, Flamingo and South Point.
As Artie Johnson used to say, "very interesting".

Think it thru- as long as the casinos were getting the money, they set the shortest time window for people to cash in their tickets. Any tickets not cashed in during that time frame became the casinos money. Now that the rules have changed. the casinos don't want to do any more work than possible to report and refund the monies from tickets that are not redeemed. The more tickets redeemed the less money the casinos have to give up to the state, and they also have an opportunity to receive more interest that these funds provide while sitting and waiting for redemption.

Is your favorite phrase still "YES WE CAN"?!? Barry is the best... Oh my bad he needs another 4 years to get the unemployment rate under 8%. I am just glad that we are all united now as Barry promised.

How did I miss this gem??

You really are a verbose piece of work. Walt was able to explain this in a couple of sentences; it didn't require a manifesto.
