Ticketing, taxes and fees...

Is there a particular sensible reason why the pricing for tickets to events in Vegas are not shown with ALL taxes and fees included in the announced price? I get tired of "playing the game" of finding the total price for tickets - I almost always find that what is advertised as a good deal, in reality, does not look so good when all the add ons are factored in. Just tell the the total price - is that too much to ask?
Doctor, did you wake up on the grumpy side of the bed today? Would it help improve your mood if I give you a big wet kiss?
I don't see any difference in that, and the constant use of deceit that comes out of Washington almost on a daily basis. Ever hear of "Obamacare"? Benghazi? Secret Service, IRS, AP/FNC, NSA snooping, Iran, etc.?

Just live with it. The hidden prices are for the greater good.
EllenMonster- My "mood" is just fine - I am just tired of all of the lying and deceit. As for your offer, can I get a rain check?

As a friendly note to those still able to perceive reality: it was the Obama Administration that forced airlines and its agents to quote their airfares with all taxes and fees included.

Specifically, the Obama Administration forced the industry to:

* Make sure that advertised fares include all government taxes and other fees that now are hidden behind asterisks or stuck in footnotes, but which can add 30% to 50% to a ticket price.

* Include any fees for checking bags when you book and pay for a ticket online. The goal is to prevent passengers who are checking bags from being surprised by the fees and having to pay them at the airport; and

*Give customers 24 hours to change their reservations without having to pay rebooking fees. This would save passengers money in case they make a mistake.

Kind of like your telephone bill. All those extra taxes. ------ Blade, I use a monthly pre paid cell phone for that very reason- all of those B.S. taxes are just a waste of money, in my opinion. I get tired of everyone and every entity having their hand in my pocket.
Chilcoot has a major man-crush on Obama.
Nope, just a patriotic American who roots for the country's success, unafraid of our President's earnest realism and pragmatism.
