Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos

I love all the attention this game gets. Believe me it isn't the Patriots drawing the interest.
I live 20 miles north of Boston . When we made our annual trips to Vegas during Columbus day I always noticed the Patriots never get any respect.
Now that I get to vegas every spring it is the same with the RedSox. Who cares about the teams from back East . No respect but that's Ok as long I live in the Greatest Sports Town in the country.
Go Pats!!!!
In heaven God gave Tom Brady a meager, quaint little house with a small Patriot's flag on afixed to the mailbox saying that in heaven that is the standard for all who come here. When Brady saw a huge mansion with a Bronco's flag pole placed in the middle of the front lawn and a Bronco's banners flying on the rooftop and Tebow jerseys in the windows Brady asked God with all due disrespect why Tebow's house had so much more. God stated, "That's not Tebow's house, that's my house."

I am not sure what spreads you are looking at. Every Las Vegas sportsbooks -- Las Vegas Hilton, Caesars, MGM, Stratosphere, Southpoint, Leroy's, Wynn and Stations -- has the line at 7 1/2 points -- the high-water mark for the week.

For sure the line has moved around this week. It opened at 6 1/2 points and moved down to 6 as early action was on Denver. But all of the late action was on New England as the line moved to 7 on Thursday and then 7 1/2 Friday afternoon. Let's see what happens between now and kick off, if anything. I wouldn't be surprised to see the line down to 7 before the day is over because there appears to be a lot of action.

Of course, if you are convinced the Broncos are the way to go, forget the spread and bet them at plus $3.20 on the money line at Las Vegas Hilton or Mirage/MGM. I still like the Patriots in this game.
Patriots minus 1½ and Chargers plus 8½ looks like an appealing teaser to poor old DonDiego.

By the way, the Vegas Insider website can inform one of the opening and current lines as well as the line history at several sports betting emporia; one need only click on the current line for a sportsbook to see the line history. friedmush's history seems accurate.
Don Diego, good reference. Vegas Insider is one of my bookmarks. I started to link it on my post, but got too lazy pecking on my IPhone.

REALLY?!? The Patriots never get respect? Maybe they don't where you live but I don't remember hearing any lack of respect in the direction of the Patriots and Tom Brady.

It's a Chowdahead thing to feel disrespected. It comes from being dominated by their southern rivals in NYC.

DD, that's exactly my bet but I also added the Jets + 9. I hope you're right!

So Don Diego and Dan are not taking the leads of the weenie dogs?

Nothing personal but neither of the doggie picks meet my specific teaser bet criteria.

On paper, both make good sense. The Bucs have been horrific and Big D was desperate for a win to stay in the hunt. I got caught up in the media hype about the Bucs playing for their head coaches job. See what happens when you read too much? Lol

I like BJ's pick this week. Cleveland will be hard pressed with an obscure backup taking the start.

I think there are plenty of money making opportunities this weekend....but every time it seems so "clear", I get my butt kicked!

The doggies have been picking great after a slow start. A 69% win rate is phenomenal.

Good luck to the players and pups!

In 1966, Baltimore lost both Johnny Unitas and his backup and ended up with running back Tom Matte playing the QB slot. The Colts unconventional offense took them all the way to the Playoff Bowl title, but the next year, Matte was back at running back.

This game was the semi-final game to get into the NFL championship against the Packers. The Colts lost 13-10 on a disputed field goal

Edited to reflect the true nature of the Playoff Bowl
