Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos

It's the NFL; there is no long run. He will make a great motivational speaker/televangelist when he's done with the NFL. A little coaching, and he's good to go.

I am a bronco fan but no, I don't think Tebow has long guaranteed success with his throwing.

Robert Griffin is faster has a much better arm. the QB position in pro football is evolving somewhat with the double threat QB. I can think of 4or 5 college QB's who have great ability for both of these traits.

Yeah, 7 years ago (or whatever) it was Vince Young. The truth is that drafting a QB is a crap shoot. It doesn't matter whether John's been there and done that, he's no better at predicting it than RG3 would be. There are too many things that cannot be incorporated accurately into the decision. I'm 100% sure that John didn't come clean about a lot of the shit that he did when he was coming up. (BTW, Janet was just as bad as Tebow is when it comes to "proclaiming." Maybe John just wants a rebound divorce?)

The proof is in the pudding, and Tebow has become effective. The Broncos have more pressing needs than finding a replacement.

Shouldn't the wieners be selecting "dogs"?

Tebow & Co. up early.

60 degrees in Denver in December ???

The Broncos score on their opening drive. This can't be good for Denver. lol

Tebow & Co. score TD's on their 1st 2 drives. That missed extra point may come back to haunt them.

Against teams that have a good offense Pats/Detroit Jesus just runs out of gas.
We didn't get the game, since the network had to show our local team lose again, but it appears from the scoring that my theory was correct: the Pats figured out what Tebow and company were doing and pretty much neutralized them in the second half.

As for the Jesus comment, a man's character is his character, whether he's playing football or doing what comes after football. It's just that we tend to overlook bad character if the guy can play football. I see nothing fake about Tebow, and like Rhett Butler, hesitate to "question the teachings of childhood."

The 2nd quarter was the game. 3 turnovers by Denver and 20 points by New England in that quarter.
UGH our team has lost so many here I wish they stopped showing them on tv, it gives false hope. I do not think they even care anymore.
