My last post on this thread cited a very specific and famous example, Hoops! Note how I provided a link to my information instead of making something up and posting it on this board. You should use it as a template for your own posts in the future so people might begin to take you seriously.

You're welcome.

Oh, Cramers dad needed help and GUESS WHAT? he got it, just as anyone else out there needing help would get help. A legitimate reason against having to show a ID when voting is all I ask and because someone needed assistance and got it is no reason. I'll give it to you tho, it's miles better than forky's bus ride excuse.

Unless I missed it, your last post was a 3 year old article about the Texas Id law. The SC has said voter Id laws are legal.

What else do you have. I hope it is better than forky's 2 hour bus ride rant

Yep - You missed it. Reading is hard isn't it?

And, Jatli, I'll tell you what- if the governor of PA vows to personally register anyone who is having trouble ala Jim Cramers dAd then I'll withdraw my one valid example that you said you were ignorant of. Otherwise can you confess that I easily provided a valid example of voter id laws making it hard to vote?
Will the Democrat party turn down anyone who calls and asks for assistance with registration?

If the two dozen vets or so that haven't voted in 70 yrs but would like to change their mind this year, I will go provide rides to them. I've already commented on this example and it makes no sense.

You are reaching, not as bad as Forky, but trying to grasp anything that sounds semi reasonable but in the end, they're all just excuses to go against ID laws.

BTW, I'm curious, all these vets that have no ID, how in the world do they get by with their banking and such?

But they did vote in the last 70 years. They voted in every election until Republicans passed a law that suddenly made them ineligible. I gave you the example you asked for - and now you are moving the goalposts like I predicted you would.

OK, i'll keep playing. If these guys can make it to the polls how come they can't make it to obtain an ID? You still haven't answered my question, how have these guys been conducting any business whatsoever w/o any form of ID?

Tell you what, I'll even concede that any guy wearing a uniform from WWII or earlier, ID is waived, how about that? It's on an equal plane as your offer of having the Gov. of Pa. set these guys up. Actually, ny proposal would actually be feasible where yours is..well, not.
While people are quick to point out the hundreds of thousands registeres to vote without voter id, there are several questions about these numbers.

1- How do we know these people are even alive?
2- Do they live in the state anymore?
3- Pa admits that they have thousands of college students registered to vote, who may have licenses from another state, or may no longer be in attendance in Pa.
4- Most importantly how do we know these people really exist? The democratic party has a long history of registering phantom voters, who then travel from site to site voting.
5- When was the last time the voting lists were checked and purged?

It is very likely many of these people fall into one of the above categories & are not eligible to vote.

I find it very difficult to believe that so many people can live that far under the radar without a photo id.
So Democrats are so motivated that they will break the law to vote several times, right? While they are so lazy that they're not willing to spend two dollars and two miles and two hours to be able to do so.

Does anyone else notice the disconnect in those two allegations?

Now jatki, go and look up the phrase "Bell Curve." I'll wait until you get back. Back? Good. Continuing...among any population, like say Democrats and Republicans, there are a few that are fiercely motivated to vote, most are moderately motivated and cluster around the mean, and a few are not that motivated and will only vote if it is convenient.

The not-that-motivated to vote group in either party? Put a two dollar and a two mile and a two hour burden in their path, and they don't vote. It's basic human behavior, and it really isn't that hard to understand, is it. Advantage Republlicans.
"Does anyone else notice the disconnect in those two allegations"

Because 2 different paople said this. As I said history has shown that the democrats (Chicago/NY) have had people vote multiple time

"Put a two dollar and a two mile and a two hour burden in their path"

You keep peddling that unsubstantiated crap

Oh man, I hated stat clas. Bell curves, standard deviations etc. I had to actually study for that damn class.

Well, all I have to say at this point is waaa! Sorry 'bout your luck. Get over it or you can keep pretending how unfair the system is and crying over, I can't help you any further.
